Paul Heussenstamm
Art that Awakens the Divine Within
Paul Heussenstamm has gained increasing recognition over the years as one of the world's most renowned spiritual painters. A fourth generation artist, Paul's formal education in Fine Arts prepared him for the ultimate revelation of his life's work: the artistic sharing and teaching of the ancient language of Spiritual Art. Paul's intensely colorful paintings are for and from the soul, and serve as a pathway to self-realization, healing, wholeness, and conscious awakening.
Hundreds of Paul Heussenstamm's original
paintings are elegantly displayed in temples, yoga centers,
and individual collector's homes, at places like the Chopra
Center for Well-Being and around the world. We are pleased
to offer Paul's breathtaking paintings as prints, posters, and
Giclee prints (a modernized technology that produces richly
detailed high-resolution reproductions).

Beloved Community,
In the trans-religious spirit of Agape inclusiveness, it is
a great pleasure to present the talents of Paul Heussenstamm,
an artist whose spiritual practice infuses his creative gifts.
Paul's theme of art as a spiritual path is the result of his
numerous pilgrimages meditating and praying before the shrines
of the world's spiritual tradtions. From Hindu, Buddhist, Native
American, Aboriginal to Christian- the deity figures Paul has
transferred to canvas and sculpture symbolize the transcendental
qualities of the Ineffable, and the metaphysical principles
from which the Universe has emerged. The central alter on Agape's
sanctuary dais depicts this pantheon of world deities, while
the side alters include Ganesha(symbol of success, overcoming
obstacles, learning and wisdom) and Shakyamuni Buddha(Prince
Siddhartha Guatama of 2500 years ago who acheived complete enlightenment).
Agape's Art and
Beauty Ministry is dedicated to making available to all who
walk through our doors art that awakens an appreciation of spiritual
realities that cannot be expressed in words yet powerfully communicate
through artistic expression. We also display works that challenge
and expand preconceived opinions and perceptions, as well as
those that educate on important social issues and cultivate
a compassionate awareness of the varied experiences of our world
family.
The Agape movement
teaches that the number of ways leading from the relative to
the absolute if infinite. May this inaugural of our new sanctuary
ART showing-our first in several years-be a source of inspiring
discovery, expansion, and devotional sweetness in your walk
of spiritual awakening.
Peace and Blessings
